New to the Fall Festival this year is an opportunity to earn up to $3,000 for our school.  Stop by the Parking Lot in front of school on October 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and test drive a new Chrysler Pacifica! Chrysler’s Cars 4 Classrooms will donate $10 for each test drive/ride taken for 0-99 people, and this amount increases to $20 if we recruit 100 – 150 test drivers / riders, up to $3,000. Thank you to Debbie Ernst for organizing this event!

Our annual Reflections Art Contest is coming!

Artwork should be submitted between October 28 and

November 1, 2018.

From the Texas PTA: Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

With positive recognition as the focus of this program, rather than competition, students of all ages and abilities can experience the benefits of creative expression and help in finding their own voice in telling their unique story.

Started in 1969 by Mary Lou Anderson, then Colorado PTA President, Reflections has grown to be one of the largest nationwide programs of its kind, with more than 200,000 students participating annually.

Thank you to Deepa Shenoy for volunteering to coordinate this contest at Andrews.
