Senior Scholarships

PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality. One of the ways we support Andrews students reach their full potential is through continuing education.

Each year, Andrews PTA awards scholarships to eligible high school seniors. In keeping with our work in building strong family-school partnerships, our scholarship process focuses on the impact an applicant's family, teachers, and PTA have had on their goals to continue their education or training.

The scholarship awards are given during a Senior Reception / Social towards the end of the school year, where former Eagles have a chance to visit with old friends, teachers and staff.

 2022-23 Senior Scholarship Awardees

The Andrews Elementary PTA Scholarship Committee is proud to announce that the winners of our 2023 scholarships are Abigail Mitchell and William Dai! Outstanding students, community volunteers, and aces in their areas of interest, they both stood out for their thoughtfully written essays. Abigail made a highly personal connection to the essay topic about the impact of social media on communication and relationships. She impressed the Committee with her future career plans to help children use communication to become the best version of themselves. William's deep dive into the world of mathletes gave his essay a unique point-of-view, and his comments on the pitfalls of comparison displayed wisdom beyond his years.

We would also like to recognize the 18 other scholarship applicants for their superior entries. All did an exceptional job, making this year's decision difficult!

We wish each of our Eagle seniors the best of luck in your endeavors after high school, and we look forward to celebrating you all on Thursday, April 27th, at Capstone Park. The Eagles reunion starts at 5 pm.
